These NightCrawlers are much larger and better for fishing bait than the Red Wiggler [composting worms ](Eisenia Fotida).

AFRICAN NIGHT CRAWLERS are bigger than European Night Crawlers. They are hugh [150 worms per pound]. We do not carry them at this time as they are very sensitive to weather changes.

What Our Growers Say

Europeans are fantastic worms, and great composters. Durability is FAR SUPERIOR to red wigglers. I am the guy the county uses for their composting programs. Even the county loves that I carry the Europeans as they have seen what great worms they are.

All the Europeans we ship are 1.2 to 1.5 grams each.

Please do not expect worms that look like the Canadians.

European worms will not grow as big as the Canadian Nightcrawlers,

but can get up to 4.5 grams, be 4-6"long and as thick as a #2 pencil

... with the proper feed and care.
